What Does Jefferson Baptist Association Exist For?
We exist to promote fellowship! It is our desire to see every person within reach of our churches experience fellowship with God, and experience fellowship with one another. This is based upon 1 John, chapter 1, and is related to the Great Commission given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.
As an association of Baptist Churches, we are able to do things together that we could not accomplish individually. In addition to touching lives through our camp at Bates Creek, we plan to expand our outreach to strengthen weaker churches, to assist with singles and married couples, to send Vacation Bible School teams and Evangelistic teams to areas where there is no evangelical church in other areas of our state and nation and, as opportunity and need arise, even to other nations of the world where the message of the Gospel is so desperately needed.
