As we move into spring and summer it is a time for missions. We have several options to offer this year and our hope is you, our churches, will be able to utilize them.
First, it appears we will have one summer missionary this year. We have a young lady, who will be available to help teach and lead out in VBS, Back Yard Bible Clubs and any other type of missions. We will be keep her schedule in Stella’s office. Therefore, if you want to schedule her to help, please call and talk to Stella. The time schedule will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Second, we have 2-3 churches who are interested in mission projects for their youth. If you have a project that would help your ministry but you are short on manpower call JBA and we will try to match church to church to create a good mission opportunity for both.
Third, I have been contacted by 2-3 churches in far-off places like New York that are seeking a church group to come help them during different parts of the summer. They may be able to help with places to stay while on mission in their area.
Fourth, we need some help all three weeks at camp. Our weeks this year are July 5th-9th, 12th-16th and 19th-23rd. If you are free one week call us and let us plug you in to missions at Bates Creek.
Last, but not least, if you need a mission for your group but these listed don’t work, call us. We will contact other DOM’s and find you a place to be on mission with God and God’s people.
