Prayer Requests

We have three mobile home parks that are open to ministries; Brookside, Country Squire, and Brian's Mill Farms.

Pray for call to call up women to help lead coffee fellowships for women and for follks to help with back yard Bible clubs.

Camp plans are coming along great. Pray for all the churches as they make plans for sending children and youth to camp.

Barb has been such a blessing time after time. Through these past years we all have found her a great helper and prayer warrior as we serve together in the army for the Lord. Today after a tough weekend Troy Medley is dealing with following Barb's DNR wishes not to be resuscitated further. After Barb's heart attack this weekend she is in comatose and serious condition. Please keep Barb, Troy and their family in your prayers. It is likely Barb will go to glory to be with the Lord this morning. Lucy and Jeff have been spending the most time attending to Barb and the family including Richard and Maryann Marberry. Pray that the burden might be comforted for them all. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22- 23.

Just an update on FBC Herky / Pevely... We could never truly replace Barb and will always look to the day when we can see her again; however, the Lord has given us a wonderful new secretary whom we love. She has been a part of this church family for years, and it is good to have her help.

 

 

Pray for God's leadership as they move from full time ministry to retirement.

My aunt Charlotte has been diagnosed with colon cancer. We are still learning where she is in this battle and what options are out there please remember her.

Please pray for Andrew and me to be reconciliated, to have have harmony between us and to be able to see each other.

Pray for Brother Baker as he struggles with illness.

 

Please pray for Pastor Roy Kaylor of Alpine Baptist.  He is having surgery on Decmber 9th and will be in the hospital for three to four days.  Pray for God to modearte his pain and speed his recovery.  Also pray for strength for his wife and she ministers to his needs during this time.

 

 

 

 

I would like to thank God for a partial healing. i would also like to thank many churches for the prayers that have been sent up on my wife's behalf. My wife was released from Barnes hospital about two and a half weeks ago. She suffered from a condition called AVM. She had to have 30 pints of blood from Dec. 2,2008 through Jan. 2009. There is no known cure for this condition but the bleeding has stopped. My wife spent from Dec. 2 to Jan. 17th. in the hospital. Praise God. We still ask for your prayers that it does not return. Harmony request prayer for food donations for their food pantry and they need to build a new building.

Pray for God's leadership in finding new ways and methods to reach the community for Christ.

Pray for this church as they seek God's man to be their pastor.

Raintree is praising God for the work already done on their new building and is asking for prayer for the teams still to come.

Blackwell has been going through a great deal of change over the past year.  In June of 2008 they lost their pastor to a vehicle crash.  Attendance had dwindled to two faithful people who chose to pray and ask God to help them to keep the church open rahter than give up and close the doors.

 

Dennis Murphy has accepted the call as pastor and comes to the position as a graduate of Midwestern Seminary with almost 20 years of experience in minstry.  The church has been blessed with a partnership relationship with Cornerstone Baptist Church in Park Hills and has been doing a lot of renovation to the building. God has blessed them with a man who builds churches for a living to come and guide the project with a lot of free labor, some free materials, and his wealth of experience.  This past Sunday they had 12 in the morning service and were blessed by a surprise donation from Primrose Baptist Church of $1,000 to help with the renovations.

 

We are asking prayer to thank God for all He has done and will continue to do in the future.  Pray for our Easter goal of 25 for the morning service and the baptism we will celebrate in June.

 

There is still much to be done and we are praying for help from our sister churches in the Jefferson Baptist Assocation.  We will need new equipment for the nursery and children's classrooms we are trying to repair, paint and refurnish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Praise the Lord for the baptisms good connections into the community through their block party.

Praise the Lord for several recent baptisms.

Praise the Lord for the good attendance of the Bible Conference.

Thank the Lord that the program was well attended and everyone was blessed.

The church is in its new building and it is already full.
